Family Resemblance

Ever since Gabe arrived nearly 5 months ago David and I have heard one question over and over again... "who does he look like?" Well below is a picture of my dad when he was a baby... mystery solved!

Yesterday Renee and Kate came to visit. It was the first time we'd gotten Kate and Gabe together since Kate was a week old and Gabe was 11 weeks old... needless to say they look a bit different now! We had such a fun time playing with them on the activity mat, eating lunch with Uncle Eric and just laughing at how absolutely adorable they both are!

Chit Chat

Gabe is so chatty these days! I just can't imagine who he gets that from! Seriously if he's awake he's babbling about something.

The first video was taken earlier this evening. He's lying on me so my camera work isn't the best but I think you'll still enjoy it! The second video is from last night. I think he's practicing his bird calling skills!

Hey Fightin' Tigers

Well Gabe watched his first LSU football game last night. The game last weekend was way past his bedtime but last night's 6 o'clock kickoff worked out perfectly! Gabe's Uncle Curt (David's brother) and his Nanny (Curt's wife Judy) invited us over for the big game. Gabe doesn't have any LSU jammies so we dressed in his yellow duckie ones- close enough right?

Gabe watched nearly the entire game. He stayed up WAY past his bedtime but who could blame him...great company, yummy food and the Tigers! Thanks Uncle Curt and Nanny...hope to do it again soon! Geaux Tigers!

"Eat Mor Chikn"

Monie and Pappy came and spent Labor Day weekend with us! They said they were here to help us fill in the pond but we know the real reason...Gabe! I mean who could blame them?

Last winter Mom bought what we thought was going to be Gabe's Halloween costume. Well little did we know that we'd have a giant baby! Below are a few pics of Gabe in the costume while he can still fit it!

Also we took Gabe to his pediatrician Thursday so she could take a look at his rash. Gabe has had some sort of skin affliction basically since birth (baby acne, cradle cap) but for the past 2 weeks he's had a rash on his face, legs, arms and tummy. You can see how red his face is in the pics. The pedi thought that he might be allergic to milk and told his to give him Nutramigen and see if the rash went away. Well he's been on it for a few days now and we've noticed no change so it looks like it's time for an allergy test to find out what specifically he's allergic to. Poor little man!

Last week David and I bought Gabe an exersaucer/jumper. At first he didn't know quite what to think of it but now he seems to be getting the hang of it! Few cute pics of him enjoying his new toy....

Birthdays Abound!

So many special people in Gabe's life have birthdays this month...Godfather, Uncle Marty, Taunt Meshall, Aunt Sandra, Uncle Curt and Pappy! Gabe wanted to wish everyone Happy Birthday and tell them that he loves them! See he even typed this message...
