Lazy Saturday

David, Gabe and I spent a fabulous day at home today! Gabe had quite the productive day...

He was busy watching Dada in the yard. Love the crazy look on David's face as he sees Gabe.


He was busy reading with Momma. I should note that Gabe often brings books to David and I, but it's rare that we get beyond the first page before he's had enough. I can't believe he actually sat with me and let me read to him. I nearly made it through the whole book!



He was busy cruising around the furniture!


And he was busy practicing his newest "trick." David and I are scared to death every time he does this. We're convinced he's going to flip over!



And of course David and I were busy tying to keep up with Gabe!

"Daycation"

David, Gabe and I decided to take a "daycation" to New Orleans and visit the aquarium. Gabe seemed to enjoy looking round all at all the people (it was so crowded) and of course the fish! After the aquarium we took a stroll down to Jackson Square... Gabe's first French Quarter trip. He's not allowed back until he's 21!

Gabe and I wanted to wish Happy Father's Day to the best Dada around! David is an amazing father- better than I could have ever dreamed of or hoped for! Gabe is so incredibly lucky to have him!

We spent a wonderful day eating crawfish and hanging out by the pool with the Lanoux's... all to celebrate David's parents 50th wedding anniversary! Happy Anniversary Maw Maw and Paw Paw! We love you!

Gabe's hair was beginning to look a bit shaggy so Monie gave him his first haircut today! Sweet baby boy is growing up so quickly!
