Park Fun!

We took advantage of the beautiful (but a little chilly) weather and took Gabe to the neighborhood park. Boy does he love the swings!

BR Zoo!

We were off for MLK day so as has become our tradition we took Gabe to the BR zoo. It was MUCH cooler than we anticipated! We "breezed" through the zoo rather quickly, but Gabe had fun checking out the animals from his stroller.

Gotta love the Pack and Play

Oh how we love the pack and play around here! I don't think a day of Gabe's life has gone by that he hasn't spent time in here!

First "Real" Haircut

I've trimmed Gabe's hair a few times over the months, but it became painfully obvious recently that we were going to have to take him to get a REAL haircut. My mom found this this super cute place right at the front of our subdivision. It was completely kid focused- cute chairs for them to sit in, toys to play with while waiting and even a tv screen at every station. But David and I both knew that no matter how amazing the place was Gabe would have no part of it. And boy oh boy Gabe did not disappoint. He started crying the second we sat him in the fire truck chair. He stopped crying briefly to say "Mickey" because Mickey Mouse was playing on the tv but then went right back to it. I even held him to see if that would help but nope- he just kept on screaming. The whole thing may have last 15 minutes but it was TORTURE for all of us. The good news is he was fine the minute she stopped cutting and his hair is just so cute! He looks like such a big biy now!

Jump O Lene

Monie and Pappy (and Honey, Uncle Marty and Livie bought him one too!) bought Gabe a Jump O Lene for Christmas. To say that is was difficult to inflate this thing is putting it mildly. After realizing that our air pump and my hair dryer wouldn't work David and my dad hit the air pump at the gas station. They only problem- it was too big inflated to fit in the car so David had to walk it back home. Thankfully the gas station is just at the head of our subdivision. It was quite the site seeing David walking with that thing! Gabe was very excited about it... I love that you can see his hair standing on end in one of the pictures.
