On the Road Again

Well Gabe has hit the road again and will be staying with his Monie and Pappy for the next few days. David and I are heading to the beach to celebrate our 5 year wedding anniversary! I'm so excited about getting away but we're going to miss Gabe a ton! I wonder how many times I'll call!

Happy Birthday Monkey! Can't believe that it's been 11 months since you made your way into the world! Daddy and I are so in love with you!!!

Here's what you've been up to...

You now have 6 teeth!

You can say (and wave) bye bye!

You love being outside!

Since you can reach just about anything my pulling up to your knees that's all you seem to want to do! You pull up completely but not that often.

You can kinda stand... well you'll stand if we put you standing alongside an object (sofa, bed, jumper).

You can hold your bottle!

You are the happiest little thing! You only fuss when you're tired.

Your sleeping and eating is pretty much the same as last month- still no table food.

You love drinking water from your cup!

You shake all of your toys- even the ones that don't make noise.

You cried the other day when we dropped you off at the sitter. I think you were just tired but it broke my heart nontheless!

Cutest Couple!

Yesterday my BFF Renee and her family came to visit! I was so excited to get the kids together! Renee has the most adorable girls- Sydney is 5 and Kate is 8 and a half months. With kids and husbands in tow we went to dinner but before we headed out we took a few pictures of the cutest kids ever! I love how Kate and Gabe look like they're going out on a date, and I can't get over how BIG Gabe looks!

10 Months and 20 Something Days

That's how old Gabe is and that's how old I was when I became a big sister! I would love for Gabe to be a big brother ONE DAY but friends today is not that day! I seriously cannot even begin to imagine how my parents did it with two under 1... makes me tired just thinking about it! Momma and Daddy you two are amazing!

You would know that the first sunny weekend in what seems like months I have to work, but I was able to sneak in some time outside with my favorite little guy!

Random note- Gabe had a saltine cracker today.... he loved it!

Gabe was super fussy this morning so I decided to distract him and stroll him around the house



David and I took Gabe to our neighborhood park this afternoon. Gabe loved the swing!



Mom asked me to shoot a video of him swinging but I had the camera sideways.... sorry!

Well friends things have been a little crazy here in the land of Lanoux... volunteer training is upon us which means that I work until 9:30 PM every Tues and Thurs and I'm gone Saturdays for the next couple of weeks so David is essentially a single dad. It's so hard not seeing Gabe on those days, but I know he's in excellent hands!

Gabe's been plenty busy trying to put everything into his mouth! Like his donkey...



And his daddy's smelly old shoelaces!



Oh and not to mention trying to grab everything in sight!



Here's hoping that these next few weeks fly by! I miss my guys!
